Key change slightly delayed
Expect plans for the key change and lock upgrade at Hidden Hill Observatory to be announced in the May Prime Focus edition. Members will have at least 90 days during which to exchange their current keys. All paid key deposits will roll over with the new system. (Key deposits are collateralized by a club certificate of deposit.)
Sunol star party a success
TVS congratulates Mike Rushford and Phil Waide on their success in organizing an impromptu star party. On March 16, they hosted the Sunol Glen School GATE class in a evening of stargazing. Kids and parents alike sent their thanks to the club. Way to go, Mike and Phil!

Certificate of deposit #2 holds the club's observatory key deposits against claim by members who surrender keys.
