Time shift
As you begin to outline your 1999 calendar, remember the change in our general meeting schedule. Beginning in January the general meeting date will return to the third Friday of each month.

Changing the guard
Nominations and elections at the November general meeting produced few surprises, and only a few new names. The current board serves through the end of this month. Beginning in January, your new club officers will be as follows.

Monthly planning meetings are slated for the Monday night following the general meeting. Planning sessions begin at 7:00 p.m., and convene at the downtown Livermore Round Table Pizza.

*Our long-serving treasurer, Gene Nassar, has purchased a home with an observing site in the backyard. He will be moving to Southern California, at an elevation of about 2,800 feet. So, we need a 1999 treasurer!
