The new Chabot Science & Space Center (CSSC) invites you to experience the universe first-hand at the grand opening of its facilities in the Oakland Hills. The new buildings house observing domes, a planetarium, classrooms, and brand new displays that make astronomy approachable and understandable for the general public. CSSC is planned as a hands-on celebration of the sights, sounds, and sensations of the universe.
Opening day tickets may be purchased in advance through the online service TicketWeb, or you may telephone 510/601-TWEB. Adult admission prices begin at $8, with discounts for seniors and youth aged 4-12.
