The editor apologizes

Your editor's travel schedule kept her away from the September planning meeting. Therefore, this edition of the newsletter lacks updates from that board session. Next month, we'll bring you up to date on the latest happenings in club finances and board decisions.

Nominations continue through this month

The current club directors are actively soliciting nominations for new officers and committee chairs for 2000. Nominations remain open through the end of October. Our annual open elections will be conducted at the November general meeting. Please contact any officer or director if you have questions regarding club positions. Planning sessions are held the Monday following each general meeting, and a few specific positions require other mid-month attention. As you are thinking about reliable TVS members who might enjoy helping the club, don't forget yourself!
